![]() There is also no search functionality at all. ![]() User-experience of the app aswell as the tray icon is clunky and requires way more clicks than it should. 1c) Sticky is not even remotely production ready, yet. Why?! 1b)The replacement app Sticky failed to import the old notes and refused to start after that until i deleted the config file. It’s been asked for for many years in various feature requests, but the applet remains pretty much the same as it always has been.Įspecially happy about ‘bulky’ – already good, but once it reaches feature parity with the xfce solution it will be great to have.Ĭontent search in ‘nemo’ is also very appreciated!Ī few nitpicks though: 1a)the upgrade deinstalled gnotes. Having to run a whole separate program is such a pain in comparison to that. I know there are other calendar programs I can use, but I really want something that lives on the panel and drops down “menu-style” on-demand over whatever program I’m working in so I can check appointments/events on a specific date, or add a new appointment/event on a specific date, and then quickly and neatly tucks away back into the panel. Ideally, linking it with Online Accounts would be great, so that I can connect it to my Google and school calendar. I’d love to see it once again include appointments and events, like it used to back in Gnome 2, and like it does currently in Gnome, XFCE, and KDE. It’s currently pretty much functionless, other than being a static calendar. Thank you for using Linux Mint and have a lot of fun with this new release! Post navigationĪlso, are there any plans to modify the default calendar applet in future versions? It’s been a point of frustration for me since Cinnamon stopped being a Gnome extension. We look forward to receiving your feedback.
