While you can use fresh lychees, they’re quite challenging to find. They’re quite sweet and fragrant with floral notes. Lychees are a fruit native to China, but in the US, they’re also grown in Florida and Hawaii. These cupcakes use canned lychees with a blueberry in the middle to create the eyeball. I’m sure a lot of you must be thinking… What are lychees?!
